These are some of my contributions to a 'proposed innovation' site known as The Halfbakery.
I have had a love-hate relationship with this site for quite awhile and visa versa. Its a site
where you post proposed inventions, ideas, etc and people comment on them and vote for them.

The problem is, the site isn't really a proponent of freedom of speech, so many Non Politically Correct ideas get lambasted and deleted. So, in addition to being what the other fools on the site believe to be "good", your ideas must pass political / social litmus tests. This accelerates the complexity quite a bit. The site has some definite fascist tendencies.

Me, myself and I have been thrown off the site many times, under several names. El Dorado Jr is my latest incarnation and it is a struggle for me to not get disconnected by the imperious moderator.

Aside from all of this, I find the site COMPLETELY incomprehensible. I can never tell what idea the morons there will think is great and what idea they will have violent reactions to. I really can't tell: its a total crapshoot. I have posted completely idiotic ideas they have liked, such as a town where the only mode of transportation is slow-moving, motorized zebras.

Its really weird, dude!

If you do decide to sign up on this site, be prepared for abuse, lectures and condescension like you have never encountered. The site is well designed, interesting, lively, but like I say it really has some problems.
