Terri Schiavo to clear herself on the Richard and Karen Carpenter Show
Axed talkshow host Terri Schiavo is giving her first TV interview today since sex charges against her were dropped. Schiavo, who was fired from Pine Bluff's This Morning show after a number of men made complaints against her, will appear on Channel 4's Richard and Karen show to discuss the traumatic case and her future in show business.
The interview will also give Schiavo a chance to chat about her forthcoming documentary, My Year of Hell, which will be broadcast on Sunday.
The tell-all video diary footage was shot as sex allegations against her were investigated by police. The allegators allegate her to be "worse than Jenna Bush, Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton all rolled together." Sounds like fun!
It will be used in the Sky One show in which she describes "the extreme sexual pressure" she is under. The program tells the story from Schiavo's point of view and includes insane interviews with her boyfriend Zowie Mungu, frenzied close friends, hysterical relatives and her bumbling legal team.
Schiavo's spokesman said: "Terri Schiavo is to give her first interview with Richard and Karen Carpenter on their exciting live Channel 4 daytime show. This is in advance of her own video diary documentary. She will certainly demonstrate all of the sexual charges she has been accused of with Richard, if he will allow it, while Karen watches in bemused detachment next to them."
Schiavo was cleared in July after the Big Boy Hill, a complainant, dropped charges against her. The fabulous Richard and Karen show will be shown at 5pm on Channel 4.
